ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Aliza is a singer, songwriter, and producer based out of Edmonton, Canada. Known for her candidness, Aliza mixes songwriting reminiscent of Alicia Keys, with the intuitive and improvisational style of Thelonious Monk, iconic harmonies of '90s R&B, and East Indian rhythms. While Aliza is also a social worker, her music is strongly rooted in telling stories of adversity and perseverance faced by herself and others. Dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices, Aliza runs Secret Garden Studio in Edmonton — a sanctuary where creatives can find safety and confidence that then brings their music to life. Performing alongside artists like Tea Fannie, Aurah Ariko, Ezeada, Oozeela, Maya and Jananie, Aliza has had the opportunity to experience performing from a myriad of perspectives. This has inspired her to begin producing live shows for herself and other local artists through Neutral Ground monthly events.

Le Fuzz is an original band from Edmonton that defines unique with their fusion of languages, instruments, skill and musical diversity. Their music is an infectious blend of language and rhythm, the result of 20 years of gigs and journeys. Le Fuzz Has recorded two full length albums with Scott Franchuk and are working towards a 3rd release.

Jananie is an emerging Canadian Tamil SriLankan singer/songwriter and professional portrait painter. She originally learned Carnatic Indian classical music as a child and was later influenced by R&B, Folk, Jazz, Blues, Reggae and Neo Soul. Jananie draws from the wide range of styles, creating music which reflects her experiences, internal awareness of self and the evolution of her perspectives. Layers of meaning in Jananie's lyrics are also coded into her hand painted cover art. Jananie also uses her Merch as a canvas for her expressive artwork. Jananie's live shows are an immersive musical and visual experience.
A sound defined by the city that made them, Rosina Cove offers up unpretentious Canadiana with a big heart. Fronted by award-winning songwriter Peter Stone of 100 mile house, Rosina Cove is rounded out by some of Alberta's finest musicians. Since releasing their debut album in November 2023, they have enjoyed airplay on CBC, CKUA and CJSR. 2025 is set to see this seasoned group of musicians making tracks across the country. Rosina Cove has recently performed at events such as Taste of Edmonton, JunoFest, The Edmonton Fringe Festival, Together YEG and Winterruption YEG.

Harwill plays roots music with rhythm in its soul.
Since the release of debut CD ‘Spinner of Tales’ in 1998 to their latest recording titled ‘Still Nineteen’ in 2024, the band has shared a timeless musical vision.
By now, a lifelong partnership between Tim Harwill and Mike Beley, the Alberta group’s songbook is lengthy while their chemistry on stage is legendary.

Adam Ambrose is a pop/folk/rock artist who has been making music since 2016. He is often compared to Tracy Chapman, 21 Pilots, and Ed Sheeran, among others. Adam has been featured on CBC radio, New Music Friday on Spotify, and has opened for Tate McRae.

Funk the Matriarchy - A Female Funk Revue is a dynamic, female-fronted band amplifying the voices of women in funk, soul, and R&B. With a powerful blend of infectious grooves and purpose-driven performance, they energize audiences while confronting gender inequality in the music industry and beyond. Their setlists spotlight iconic female anthems alongside hidden gems from underrepresented artists, honouring the trailblazers who shaped these genres and elevating voices too often left out of the narrative.
Since their debut on International Women’s Day 2024, Funk the Matriarchy has electrified stages at major events including The Fringe Theatre Festival and Kaleido Family Arts Festival, captivating audiences of all ages and backgrounds. More than a concert, their show is a celebration of musical history and a rallying cry for equity. Through song and storytelling, they foster inclusivity, inspire empowerment, and create space for dialogue around gender equality — all while delivering an unforgettable, high-energy experience.
Featuring members of King Muskafa, Secondhand Dreamcar, The Superband and Mocking Shadows, Funk the Matriarchy is guaranteed to get you groovin’, movin’, and funkin’ it to the man.

Under the sweeping gaze of Edmonton’s prairie skies, Métis artist Kaeley Jade has carved out a space where art and soul converge. Her vibrant debut full-length album, Turpentine, has earned her significant recognition as a singer/songwriter in the Canadian music scene with accolades that include a Canadian Folk Music Award, Western Canadian Music Award Nomination, and Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Award. Her music has received radio play across the globe (including CBC, Sirius XM, and a #1 on the charts of the Indigenous Music Countdown), has been reviewed by publications worldwide, and has been featured in several film and television productions, including Warrior Up! and Hockey Night in Canada.
