The Position

Special Events Assistants (2 positions)

You will be lead staff in various special events over the summer months. Responsibilities include coordinating and executing Music In the Park, a singer songwriter series that happens weekly, every Wednesday at 5-7 PM, and the Summer Outdoor Movie Event.

Duties will include coordinating artistic acts, logistics, community relations and event coordination. Some previous experience is an asset, but a positive attitude and problem solving skills are essential! Must be eager to work with a small team and be comfortable communicating with a wide spectrum of personalities.

Key duties

Manage all aspects of Music in The Park, including logistics, promotions, and artist relations. Gain valuable experience by providing support for summer projects, including the Outdoor Movie Night and other summer special events.

This temporary position is for 10  weeks (32 hours/week) at an hourly rate of $19. Applicants will be required to work some weekends and evenings depending upon the scheduling of events and projects. This position will require on-site working.
