About SPR
Stony Plain Road Business Association is a not-for-profit business improvement area in west Edmonton. Our area is composed of mature neighbourhoods experiencing revitalization with infrastructure and community engagement.
Our mission is to support and promote businesses and the business improvement area with programming, communications, and marketing. We support our 500+ members by providing advocacy, education, and development that attracts and supports safer, positive-community level engagement and activation. This coincides with significant new developments including an expansion to moving the area from a older shopping and service area intersected by an arterial road to evolving to a transit-oriented development with a new LRT line servicing the area and new developments. Over the next 10 – 20 years these new developments will result in about 23,000 new residential units being built. With a new brand, a focused strategic approach, and a strong, passionate vision for the area we want to look towards a re-engagement and empowerment. Find out more at www.stonyplainroad.com
